Do you ship to rural addresses?
Yes, we ship all over New Zealand including rural addresses.
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs vary depending on what you have ordered and will be automatically calculated at the checkout.
General items: Start from $7 non-rural and $12 rural nationwide
Frozen items: North Island - $18 courier non-rural North Island and $24 courier rural South Island - 39 courier non-rural and $44 rural
Oversized items: $20 non-rural and $25 rural nationwide
Live animals: North Island - non-rural $30 and rural $35 South Island - non-rural $39 and rural $44
Live Fish: North Island - non-rural $30 and rural $35 South Island - non-rural $39 and rural $44
Do you ship internationally?
No sorry we can only ship to address within New Zealand including rural addresses.
Who do you use as a courier?
For live items including live fish, live animals and plants we use NZ Post.
For all other items, we use a mix of NZ Post and Post Haste, and this will be decided by us upon creating a label and you will be notified by email with the tracking information to the email address provided, with regular updates until delivery.
What days do you ship?
We ship Monday – Friday for all no live items. Orders placed before 12pm on the day will go out the same day. Shipping days may vary depending on public holidays.
Our shipping days for live items including live fish, live animals and plants are Monday - Wednesday to ensure they arrive safely to you and don't get stuck over the weekend. These days may change to due any public holidays or stock not being in store. You will be notified if this is the situation.
Can I choose what day you ship to me?
Yes, we can but please let us know prior to placing your order or in the delivery instructions to ensure that we don’t get this out to you ASAP like we try to do.
When can I collect my order?
We will send an email as soon as this is ready for collection.
What payment options do you offer?
You can pay via Afterpay, Paymark, Zip, Bank Transfer and we take EFTPOS, Credit Card, Cash, Afterpay and Zip payments in store on pick up. There is no additional fees to you for using these services.
How long will my order take to get to me?
Orders placed before 12pm will be shipped the same day. For live items expected delivery is overnight business days, rural deliveries may take an extra day.
For all other items, expected delivery is overnight business days for North Island non-rural and 2 business days for South Island non rural. Again, for rural deliveries these may take an extra day.
What happens if I change my mind?
Please choose your purchases carefully as we cannot provide a refund if you change your mind. If you change your mind before your order has been shipped out, then a 10% admin fee applies and will be deducted from your refund.
What happens if the product is faulty?
If for any reason the product is faulty, we will either repair or replace this for you. If we are unable to do so we will then issue you a refund. We reserve the right not to offer an exchange, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.
What happens if my order is incorrect?
If your order is incorrect in any way, please let us know ASAP so we can sort this out for you.
What happens if my fish arrive DOA?
In the unfortunate event that your fish arrive DOA, please refer to our Live shipping policy
What happens if I order something that you do not have in stock?
Whilst we do our best to ensure that all items are available there may be times that we have not been able to update the website in time due to selling in store and these may need to be ordered in. Most items are available to order each week, and we place our orders at the beginning of the week and will be shipped to you as soon as possible. We understand this can be disappointing and we will notify you as soon as possible if this is the case. For live fish, you can always contact us first to avoid disappointment.
